CHEERS is a global network of Health & Demographic Surveillance Sites that pools on-the-ground surveys, wearable sensors, weather stations and satellite imagery into one open platform. By linking climate, environment and health data in real time, we reveal how heat, air quality and extreme events affect the daily lives of vulnerable communities. From Burkina Faso to Kenya and beyond, our members translate these insights into swift, evidence-based action—guiding policymakers, protecting crops, and strengthening public-health resilience in a warming world.
